Not every route offers the chance to enjoy a beach swim at the end of each stage, but the Portuguese Coastal Way from Porto to A Guarda does just that. This route is perfect for sea lovers, spanning just over 100 kilometers between the vibrant city of Porto and the charming seaside town of A Guarda. Along the way, you’ll encounter stunning panoramic views of vast sandy beaches and estuaries teeming with diverse bird species.

This journey also provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of northern Portugal while savoring its renowned cuisine. With its smooth, flat terrain and minimal inclines, this path is accessible and enjoyable for all. What more could you ask for?!

We would like to invite you to this year’s Cork & Kerry Indoor Food Market which will take place on Saturday 1st November and Sunday 2nd November 2025 in Cork City Hall.

This will be our 14th year to host this event which has grown from strength-to-strength and has been made possible by your support and that of the Local Enterprise Offices Cork & Kerry, Cork County Council, Cork City Council and Kerry County Council.

The event, which is a calendar highlight for foodies, is Munster’s largest indoor food market and will see more than 80 food, drink and craft producers exhibit their produce, as well as cookery demonstrations from top chefs and children's workshops and entertainment making it a great family day out!

This weekend wellness retreat in an idyllic West Cork location is jam packed with fitness, yoga, nutrition & coaching activities

Spend a weekend in an idyllic West Cork location and leave feeling wonderfully refreshed and with a new awareness around a healthier lifestyle.

Activities include fitness, yoga, nutrition & coaching activities as well as sea swims, hikes, kayaking, country market, have a lie in a hammock, fire pit, free time in there too and a wonderful opportunity to get to know new people.

The team:

Kara O'Donnell, Nutritional therapist & healthy cook, will provide nutrition nuggets throughout, throwing together easy meal ideas in the kitchen, delicious healthy food for us all to enjoy together and one-to-ones are also on offer to all.

Colman Power, organic farmer & personal trainer, will provide fitness sessions, the most amazing organic produce and an infectious energy that will have us up grounding & stretching first thing and throwing fabulous fresh produce into meals in the kitchen.

Kaz Russell, yoga teacher supreme, will provide daily yoga sessions to wake us all gently and settle us down for the evening, these beautifully mindful sessions will have you wonderfully stretched & relaxed for the day.

Joanne Maloney, life coach and all round inspirational guru, will provide one-to-one coaching sessions as well as exercises to get us all in the right zone to get the full benefit of the weekend.

This is because, as we go through life, we tend to over-identify with being the hero of our stories. This hero isn’t exactly having fun: he’s getting kicked around, humiliated, and disgraced. But if we can let go of identifying with him, we can find our rightful place in the universe, and a love more satisfying than any we’ve ever known.
